There has been no activity on multiplemummy.com for over a week and this probably speaks a thousand words. Kerry my darling wife and wonderful mother passed away on the 14th December. There are no words that can explain how we all feel. She would have been overwhelmed by the support she has received throughout the blogging community. She was such a special person and was simply an inspiration to us all.
Having multiple toddlers is tough! I know I have to keep up with them everyday so I’ve always tried to make my health a top priority. It’s hard to find time to workout as a mom, but if you start the habits while you’re still pregnant, they will carry over into your schedule after your little one is born. Of course you want to eat healthy for yourself and your growing baby, so check out this article on vitamins needed when pregnant. You might find that you’re too tired in the 1st trimester to exercise, but you’ll want to start a pregnancy exercise program and make plans to transition into best at home postpartum workout after you’ve recovered from delivering. Besides, it gives you an excuse to go shopping for postpartum workout clothes!

I am so sorry for your loss. Kerry was such an amazing person, genuinely kind, funny, friendly, happy and content with the amazing family that she had. She’s the type of person that you wonder if there was a catch, but having met her twice and chatted loads, she was sincere and so lovely. I haven’t stopped thing of you since I heard 8 days ago, and many tears have been shed for the injustice of it all. She adored you guys, and would be so proud of the amazing job that you’re continuing to do with your children. My thoughts and love are with the four of you, and Kerry’s extended family.

I was so shocked to hear the news. She genuinely was a wonderful lady who had a smile that lit up the room. I was lucky enough to have met her several times, the one lasting memory though is of us trying on “shape form” underwear at an event with just 6 invitees. Kerry and I as the “blogger contingency” and then 4 journalists. We were trying on underwear and got the giggles – BIG TIME! Everyone was tut tutting and eye rolling but the more we tried to NOT laugh, the worse we got – In the end, everyone joined in!!!
She is the brightest star in the sky and I’ll be raising a glass of bubbles to her this Christmas.
Peace and Love

I also know that Kerry’s memory will live on because of how much she has touched the lives of so many other people. Sending you and your beautiful children the biggest hugs and praying that you will find comfort and peace. Probably no use to say this at a time like this, but I remember reading somewhere that whilst it is so hard for us to say goodbye to our most treasured loved ones, it is like a boat sailing away from us. The last time I saw Kerry was at BritMums Live, it was at the end of the second day, and everyone was feeling a bit drained, and worn out.
We’d both ducked out of one of the last workshops, to take a breather, and both ended up collapsing on one of the comfy sofas in the lounge area. We’d met a few times before, and had always gotten on really well.
We chatted for the next hour, about work, blogging, and – most of all – our kids. I remember so clearly how her face just lit up as she talked about Noah, and the twins.
We talked about how proud we were to see our children growing up, and how it also made us sad that it was happening so quickly; and then we laughed at how sentimental we sounded!!
‘See you again soon!’ I said, as we went our separate ways that evening. It never, ever crossed my mind that I wouldn’t.
Today, and tomorrow, and for a long time to come, I’ll be thinking of Kerry, and of you all. I hope you get some comfort from knowing just how much she was loved, and respected in the blogging community, and by how very much she will be missed. xx

I’m so very sad for you all….such an untimely and unfair loss. I didn’t know Kerry until I read about the wave of thoughts for her a few weeks ago. Since then I have checked in daily and managed to track down your Facebook profiles – and from the comments and the photos on there I realised she had passed over. There is never a ‘good’ time for a person to pass when they are young and loved but this time must be harder than any other. Nick, I am so very sad for you and your lovely children. I know none of you will ever let her leave your lives completely and that she will walk by your side for the rest of your life….and your childrens. I wish I could change things for you, I really do.
Thinking of you, Kerry and your beautiful children.

I am so very, terribly sorry to hear this news and so sad you and your beautiful children have this path of grief and loss to walk now. It’s a long road with many ups and downs. You are up to it. You will find your new normal. I wish there was no need for you to do so.
I wanted to say how much I have been thinking of you and offer some hope, if I can. My husband experienced exactly the loss your children are, the same cause, when he was a little boy. He made it, both he and his brother managed and are wonderful men who cope and grew. And, although I know it is not the same, I’ve watched my children come through the loss of their brother and marvelled at the strength children have and how strong a family can be, even when it has to cope with loss.
Ohana means family. Family means no one gets left behind. Or forgotten.
Sending love.

I heard last week and couldn’t face coming onto the site to read your message or the wonderful support messages here. Well I finally did it. I am still lost for words and feel I can add nothing more than “ditto” to all the comments above. I have a close friend who has been through the same. His 3 children are now almost grown up, if you ever wanted me to put you in touch just say, and that holiday is still waiting when ever you are ready x.

I have only just seen this and send my love personally but also would like to remind people of how generous she was to ActionAid which how I met her. Her enthusiasm was tenacious and she was a pleasure to have known so briefly. I hope her family have all the love and support they need at this most difficult time.

I heard the news just over a week ago and couldn’t process that this has happened so goodness knows how you are all coping. I chatted with Kerry online a few times and she was always such a ray of sunshine, always seeing positives and a real ray of light. The sky is a brighter more beautiful place for having such a wonderful star in it at night. Sending you thoughts and love during this time.

I am late in posting on here. I knew about this sad news, but didn’t know it had been made official.
Nick and your adorable children I am so very sorry for, your loss. Kerry was one in a million and i feel honoured to have known and met her and call her a friend. I send you my love and (hugs)
I know this is not the same, but my grandad passed away a couple of weeks before Kerry did and this poem was read out at his funeral which I hope will be of comfort xxxxx
When God saw you getting tired
When God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
He put his arms around you
And whispered come to me
He didn’t like what you went through
And he gave you rest
His garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best
And when we saw you sleeping
So peaceful and free from pain
We wouldn’t wish you back
To suffer that again
Today we say goodbye
And as you take your final rest
That garden must be beautiful
Because you are one of the best.

I have followed your story and am so so sorry for the loss of Kerry. I remember her from primary school & also remember Mr Farrow (as I knew him from high school) Kerry was beautiful, quite clearly inside as well as outside & if I can aspire to be half the woman she was I would be so happy. Sending love & praying for her family & friends at this sad time xxxx

I saw someone on telly who reminded me of Kerry, so I popped over to find out about her progress only to find such devastating news. I am so sorry for your loss!
Can’t begin to imagine the grief you are going through, but may you find comfort in the celebration of her life and the wonderful children she has brought into this world. She will be looking down on her family with pride.
