I thought it would be a good idea to put all my Multiple Mummy ‘Twin’ related information in one place so here we go!
I had my twins in September 2009 and have one girl (Little Madam) and one boy (Chilled out boy) born 17 minutes apart. I was very lucky and managed to carry to 36 weeks (with a few complications in-between) and gave birth naturally in 1 hour and 40 minutes. The twins are now two and have just started pre-school. Things are crazy in my house as they create carnage and mayhem alongside their brother is only 15 months older! But boy is it fun!
Having multiple toddlers is tough! I know I have to keep up with them everyday so I’ve always tried to make my health a top priority. It’s hard to find time to workout as a mom, but if you start the habits while you’re still pregnant, they will carry over into your schedule after your little one is born. Of course you want to eat healthy for yourself and your growing baby, so check out this article on eating healthy while pregnant. You might find that you’re too tired in the 1st trimester to exercise, but you’ll want to start a powerlifting while pregnant and make plans to transition into postpartum strength training after you’ve recovered from delivering. Besides, it gives you an excuse to go shopping for best postpartum yoga pants!
